Approximately 145 KM (90 miles) from Vancouver, British Columbia. Hiking time round trip- 7 to 9 hrs. Round trip roughly 14 KM (8.7 miles), elevation gain-1160 meters (3,793 feet). Best time is usually July to September.
Directions: Note: Once off highway 99 the roads to the start of the hike are narrow rough gravel roads.
Heading north on highway 99 roughly 11 KM (6.8 miles) from the Whistler Village traffic light look for a road on the right which will cross the BC Rail tracks and Green River. Turn right onto this road and go right at the next fork. After a short distance go left on what was originally a logging road now maintained by BC Parks. Approximately 2 KM (1.2 miles) from the highway the road will end at a small parking lot. The trail to Wedgemount Lake starts here.
